Making your own sandals!

SEE EVENT DETAILS
Join me in SF for a day of making your own sandals ! We'll meet at Sequoia Fabrica, a new space for makers in the Potrero Hill neighborhood.

We'll spend a whole day learning the steps of sandal-making: you will design, fit, and assemble a pair of dream sandals for your own feet. The design possibilities are endless, as long as your idea is open-toe and open-heel. Some variables to play with include material, hardware, heel height, strap layout, sole shape, and color. And I'll bring many colors to choose from!

The sandals will be nearly ready-to-wear at end of day, I will just ask that you bring them to a cobbler to have the edges finished (sanded). This usually costs about $20, and so I've discounted the class by $50 to make sure you have a budget for that expense. This allows us more time to work on the design and assembly during our day together!

Thursday MAY 30th 10am-5ish (with a break for lunch at 1ish)

Sequoia Fabrica is located at 1736 18th Street in San Francisco's Potrero Hill neighborhood, near bus lines (19, 22, 55), a bike lane (on 17th Street), and street parking in the neighborhood.

**Consider wearing easy on/off shoes for our day of working with our feet. It might also be a good idea to bring water, snacks, and reading glasses (if you use them they might help you see what you're cutting!)
